Have you tracked your s2000?
I've been on the track in HPDE a few times, and tried auto crossing. Track time is about four 20-minutes sessions a day, while autocross is four, less-than two minute driving sessions a day, and lots of cone watching.
I voted Yes, and I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to experience the car the way it was meant to be driven. I average 3-4 track days a year (because i'm on a budget) and for those worried about messing something up, it's not as bad as you think. Your first time out you will most likely have an instructor with you the whole time who will not let you do anything to put yourself and themselves in danger. And no you won't wear out your brakes and tires on one track event, unless your brakes are already gone. Just do it
Yes, a few times. Definitely fun and intense. I feel like the S2000 is more at home on a windy mountain road or a nice scenic coastal highway, where you can admire the views with the top down and hear the exhaust sounds reflecting off trees and tunnel walls. Track driving is so focused that it kind of dampens the enjoyment, in my opinion. Meaning, you are focused on your line, braking points, not hitting anyone, listening for stuff breaking, monitoring gauges. It's a lot of work, the reason I'm often drenched in sweat after a session on track. Still fun though.

Such a rush driving at 10/10! Sadly, time and budget do not allow for track days lately so autoX has to fill the void.
