Default Having a colour crisis

I thought Black/Black was the colour. Today I go to the autoshow and see a black/all red. To me the contrast is too much but it gets me thinking, "how about sebring silver/all red (don't get silverstone in Canada this year)"

I really like how it gives the car a very classic sports car look, however, my concerns are the following

1) The red seems to look different in different lights. Sometimes it looks excellent in a dark matte red. Sometimes it looks orange. Other times it looks pink. Is my mind playing tricks on me or does it have the same affect with you?

2) The all red while I believe to be cleaner than the red and black is a LOT of red. Are any sebring/ all red owners regretting their choice at all after having lived with it for a while?

Your opinions and PICTURES are highly welcomed.

If I could choose again, I would pick the white with all red interior...

I have a new sebring/all red and I love it! Some non-motor-heads confuse my S with $90K cars because this color combination usually only exists in those category of convertibles. I do think it makes the car look a lot more expensive than it actually is. Tastefully unique =]

Black/all red looks very striking and I think it's no longer in the line up for 2003 so I think that makes black/all-red only a 2002 incarnation. Could become valuable due to it's rarity alone.

Not my car but a great pic...

the bottom line is that you have to REALLY like the color red, cuz that is the color that will occupy a moderate portion of your peripheral vision whenever you drive that car... personally, i think it's a little too much red for my taste. i like the red seats, but definitely not a fan of the red dash and door panels. i can also do without the red carpet. also, keep in mind that red plastic tend to fade in the long run. so if you plan on driving your car extensively with the top down during the spring/summer months, expect your red dash to become a pink dash a few years down the road...

Partly because you always want what you cant have but also because its very different. Black is nice but a little boring in comparison and MC blue doesnt go with red or much else for that matter. Any suggestions for highlights on black leather with an MC blue?

Blue stitching everywhere?

Or maybe take out the middle perforated part of the seats and door panels and replace them with blue pieces

I thought about this but I think that it would be a little too similar to the black and make it look like a mismatch. Too light a blue would look cheap imo. What do you guys think about tan highlights? Now that there is a tan interior are Rick and Aus going to release tan leather goods? *hint hint*

Stitching is interesting though.

Do the Audi TTs over there have the baseball stitched leather seats? That is the most ugly rediculous thing that I have ever seen.

I think they do...I first saw the baseball stitching on the TT at a car show and thought it looked pretty cool though it wouldn't be something I'd want to own...

I have Sebring/all red interior. I love it. The car looks very unigue that way. It makes the interior brighter. The black interior looks so plain and ordinary to me.
