Any S2000s in Hawaii? If so, where do you take your stook for service? Do they have a good reputation? Have you seen any other S2Ks on the road? I bought the stook because I knew I'd be moving to Hawaii this summer and am curious what it's going to be like when I get there. Hopefully, we'll be able to start our own little group.

Tfota and I both saw an S2k on Kuaui. Don't know if the owner is on the board, though.

I am currently spending 2 weeks in Oahu (leaving today) and only saw one S2K. There is a dealership on Ala Moana near the mall. I go to Hawaii every year (relatives). Congrats on moving out here, I would be interested in the cost of shipping your S2K. By the way cost of Premium is around 2.10 per gallon on Oahu and 2.30 on the Big Island.

I'm not really sure that the cost of moving the stook from the east coast which is where it'll be shipped from. If I shipped it from the west coast, it would set me back about a grand. But since my work is paying the price, I couldn't tell you how much it is until I book the trip for my baby.

As far as the cost of gas, I get a "cost of living allowance" which makes up for that. My standard of living won't go down. I lived there before for 3 years, and they gave me a cost of living allowance then that more than made up for the price of gas.

I can't imagine a better place to own a stook. California is beautiful and all that, but Hawaii is Paradise! Pure and simple...

I think Colin works at a place called Pfluger Acura in Hawaii.

I am (as far as I know) the only owner on this board in Honolulu. I've organized some get togethers for NSX and S2000 owners with mixed results.

Plese look me up when you arrive, I'd love to meet you. Check out my web page in my sig to see pics from some of the events I've organized.

Colin, correct me if I am wrong but I remember 2 dealers in Honolulu. One on the east side (I think that's where you work). One on the west near Pearl Harbor (that's not considered part of Honolulu though, right?).

Zero-60in5, couldn't agree with you more. I love driving the east coast up to the north shore. When you find the price from the east let me know. Plan on moving there in a couple of years if everything goes well and would love to take the S2K. Enjoy!

My husband and I were there about the same time as Tfota and saw a silver/black at Wal-Mart. It was parked with care. Well away from wandering carts!
