My ego took a major hit today. I drove through the drive-thru at a Chik-fil-a that I go to about once a week. I go there often enough that this one girl always knows that I need Honey Mustard sauce with my nuggets.

Now, for those who don't know, I've been driving either my dad's extra car (Civic LX) or a loaner car (Civic DX) for the past 7 weeks while my car gets fixed. As I'm driving away form the drive-thru window, I hear the girl tell her friend, "He used to have a nice car." I felt like such a loser.

I called Mark (Lips2000) immediately to share in my disgrace. After laughing loudly at me, he said, "I know what you're going to do as soon as you get your car back...go right back up there..." Ha, I hadn't thought of that...but I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it now.

Damn, I bet you felt like a moron the moment you heard that ... You couldn't even defend yourself by commenting your car is somewhere else like at the Mechanics, will probably make her think worse that you can't drive and screwed something up. Damn, it's a shameful situation to be in.
