Default Which header gives more performance?

Im looking to buy a used DC sports stainless steel header for a good price for my AP1. Its 4-2-1 design. Or would a 4-1 be better for performance? Im looking for a good header for street and strip use. What is our stock header? 4-2-1 also? Is our headers stainless steel too? Or is it a waste to buy this header compared to our stock header? How good are our stock header, performance wise compared to other aftermarket headers?

the fact that you can count the gains from an aftermarket header on your hands is a great testament to the quality of the stock piece. There is a big misconception that one header configuration is better than another, or that one gives top end, one gives mid range, one loses top end, whatever else. The fact is, a header can be designed using either configuration to give the type of gains you want..

Get a rick's header and call it a day

when i bought my s2000 a little over a year ago it was stock except it had a DC ceramic 4-2-1 header???, i found a guy willing to give me his stock header off his MY03 and $150 for the DC header, somehow i feel like he got the short end of the deal

the stock header is a fine piece, but there is always room improvement

Header isn't going to do you too much good unless you got at least a 100 grand under that hood.
