is the comptech header a good header to run n/a or is there a better choice

There are many to choose from and they are all more or less the same: Toda, Mugen, Comptech, etc. Lay back and let the marketing do it's thing.

I have heard and seen personally the Comptech header. It's a bit noisy, and trust me I love Comptech so I'd admit every good thing about it. I would go with the Rick's or Mugen...in fact I am going with one of them I just have to make that decision. Different people will tell you different things though.

So your sig lists all kinds of wonderful J's products...I'd say you should just go with the J's header (which may be the best on the market).

Since you're already J's everything else (almost), I would do a J's header and J's ECU to make sure it all works like it's supposed to.
