I'm not too interested in some kind of protective coating for the entire front end (I think stone chips are just inevitable...) but I was wondering if there is some truly clear quality headlamp coating or protection that I should look into (for MY04).

I often find that chip-free headlamps can make a car look a whole lot more new than it actually may be...

I did a search and did not see much specifically for headlamp protection...

Yup Stongard. I've had it since 2000. Works pretty well.

I have seen stone guard installed on a local members car. I personally did not like it. I installed DnyaShield on mine. It is 15mil thick, and you can't tell it is installed.

This is the primary reason that we are offering this product. See the bottom of this page for details. http://www.ricks2k.com/products/diffusers.php
