Prob. been answered before but can someone explain to me what the small round light is above the main driving light. When does this small orange light operate.

The reason im confused is because my car was wired up for day light driving lights and the light above does not ever function. Is this because in the states when the main driving lights are off the small round orange ones are on ....

Should be the city light, what most people today call the parking light. When you turn the light switch on the stalk to the first stop, the top corner light should come on, as well as the lights in the rear. Turn the switch on the stalk to the next stop and the headlights fire.
