Default Headlights Question

i've been noticing when my headlights hit the rear of a car infront of me, or when my friends drive in front of me, that my left headlight is "sharper" than my right one (my friends claim more blinding)...
i notice when i'm behind a clean car (easiest to spot on black ones) that my driver headlight always turns colors (mainly that nice purplish tint) but my right one stays the same...
i'm just wondering if my headlight needs adjusting or that's the way it is.
i know they flicker and i know they change color, but when i spot an on comming s2000 THEIR headlights change together and mine seem to work a lot more individually...
if i need to adjust it...
how would i go about it?
i'm assuming i'd need to use an alan, but i can't find where exactly it needs to go?
also, when i park infront of my garage door which is PLAIN WHITE, i don't get a perfect straight line.
yes my garage is leveled, and i don't have an oval tire or something...
i just don't get a line like this ___________ it's more like this ------_______

anyone care to through their .02?
thanks for the help

The driver's side headlight is lower then the passenger's so it does not blind oncoming traffic.

I am glad to hear there is someone else has the same problem! I have had my 2002 S2000 to two different shops a total of 5 times - the problem never gets fixed. I am at the point of writting a letter to Honda to see what they have to say. It drove me crazy dealing with the dealerships! I would tell them about the uneven line, but they would never see it until I told one of the techs to keep the car over night and drive it home. Then he finally saw what I was talking about. If you ask me, it is a design flaw or deffective headlights. I even tried to adjust it myself (you can spin the little wheel that takes an allen with your fingers if you can tolerate the pain!), and all I did was lower the bright light. I adjusted the headlight all of the way down and the line was still there. But when I would turn the bright light on, it was pointed right down to the ground at a sharp angle. So adjusting the angle of the light does not appear to solve the problem.

Anyone else have thoughts? This is my only complaint about the S2000 - except that the convertible boot is a pain to put on.

That is not a flaw. The line is suppose to be lower on the left hand side for on coming traffic. Its actually an ingenius idea.

Thanks S2000-SOTO for the information. what you said does make sense. Knowing that is supposed to be that way will make it easier to get used to. It's too bad that the Honda dealerships couldn't have told me that and set my mind easier a long time ago!

Thanks,
Brian

That's exactly the way it is. I am glad it is a good thing, and not a flaw.
