The only way I can imagine that this is true is if you are counting the USDM lights, the Euro spec lights, and the JDM lights. The main difference would be the light patterns.

I am going out on a limb though assuming that they are all different. I cannot possibly understand why there would've been three different designs in the US market alone if that is what you are suggesting.

The headlight housing changed between MY '03 and '04, but as far as I know that was purely cosmetic.

The internals have not changed. There has been cosmetic changes

USDM MY00-01
All Black with amber diffusers

USDM MY02-03
Same as above, but added a silver ring around the projectors

USDM MY04-05
New designed housing, bezel and diffusers, with the same projectors.

JDM MY00-01
All black with Clear smooth diffuser

JDM MY02-03
Same as above, added chrome trim on the projector (not just a ring)

JDM MY04-05
Same as the USDM, with RHD lighting cut off

EDM MY00-01
In RHD countries, same as JDM
In LHD countries, same as JDM with LHR lighting cut off

EDM MY02-03
Added silver ring trim for both RHD and LHD

EDM MY04-05
In RHD countries, Same as the USDM, with RHD lighting cut off
In LHD countries, Same as the USDM, with LHD lighting cut off

I thought they might have, but I was not sure. This is one version I have not heard of or seen. I have seen the rest.
