Heads Up Display

For those interested, Defi makes a set of heads up display units. The Boost and the Compass/Voltmeter/Outside Temp look interesting. Link below.

I wonder how reliable these units are?? Pretty cool though, they could definitely come in handy on the track.

anything a little more discrete would be even better, it could almost pass as a stock option if it was more discrete, like on the Vett.

I had one of those in my elan back home.
THe problem is... that with a real HUD, thd virtual display will be focused well ahead of the vehicle so that your eyes don't have to refocus when reading the display. At lease the one I had, had the display simply reflected on the windshield and was not very useful. In my opinion, may be a good gadget but...

I really don't need a boost guage... I just thought the heads-up display would go with my Navigation/Monitor/Integrated Smart Tire whole electronic theme...
