Heat from rear wheel well
Have you guys noticed how much heat comes out of the rear wheel well after a drive --its much more than from the front wheel well. Is it just the proximity to the mufflers? I went for a short drive around the neighborhood last night and when I came back in the garage and walked around the car I noticed a real difference between the front and the rear. Is it my imagination?
A. Rear end can get hot, remember it's limit slip and has clutches in it.
B. Go ahead and touch those rotors --- they are in excess of 500 degrees --- unless you coast to all stops.

Check your tire pressure. Too low a pressure in your rear tires could cause them to heat up more than usual. There was a noticeable cooling of the rear wheel well area after I corrected my tire pressures (up from 25 psi).
