Default Heated seat mod?

So I've looked around and haven't found anything. Has anyone put the heating elements in their stock seats? I have noticed a few companies selling do it your self kits and didn't know if any were worth the money. Seems like it might be a nice mod for those below freezing mornings with the top down. Any info will help. Thanks

Chris

mine are SOOOO good. you dont know what you're missing if your seats are stock (dont mean to be an ass). i use em everyday. they are 2 temp settings by the Check Corporation. they do the install for you. very much worth the money. honda should have included them in the convertible.

i dont have any pics, but i'll describe it. the two 3-position rocker switches with multicolor leds are mounted inside the center console cupholder. open the sliding door and the wall that is towards the shifter. the buttons are on that wall towards the floor of the compartment with one near the driver side and vice versa.

lemme know if i can help.

btw: that was the most complex discription of what should have been a very simple thing.

I looked at the site - http://www.checkcorp.com/seat_heater/products.asp

So it looks like the heaters are just installed in the OEM seats? DIY installation looks pretty straightforward.

I like this answer though...

I've got heated seats in my Z3. They are wonderful on cold days, especially with the top down. Can someone provide instructions on how to put the heating elements into the S seats. Is this something that requires special equipment, or know how?.

Thank you
