Be sure to go back to that dealer BEFORE running out of fuel.
Because you wont know how to open the gas cap

For that money and no service

In fact, a new car (any new car, not just the S2000) is SHIPPED with the owner's manual IN THE CAR!!! If the dealer lost the new manual, it is just inexcusable.

If it's new, my $ is on the fact it's in the secret compartment and the dealer just donno to look there...
You could threaten them with a low mark on the survey for bad service

when i bought my S used the dealer said that the previous owner didn't give the manual to him. So thanks to this forum I looked in the secret compartment and voila there it was and i took it home to read. so when i picked up my car i knew how to use everything.

Exact same thing happened to me.

Andre,

You WERE shown the secret compartment, weren't you?

I wasn't, either - and guess where I found all the literature...

Bet the manual, the quick start manual, and your bumper plugs are in the secret compartment.

Mine were -- but the secret compatment was the first thing I opened.

The Honda dealer is supposed to go through the quick start manual with you to explain everything. Mine didn't, but the dealers we bought our Accord and Odyssey both did -- better customer service at those dealers. It's been over a month, and I haven't heard from Honda to complain on the customer service survey ...

Call Honda headquater to demand the owner manual. There is no way a new car can be sold/bought without owner manual.

Next thing is no passenger seat , then no gas cap, then no spare tire ....

Don't accept these things from any new car dealers, regardless how expensive of in-expensive the car is.

Brand new S2000 and the dealer didn't have or give you an owner's manual?
Yeah I know... it makes no sense. He told me that they ran out and they were on order. But that makes no sense cause every car they get has their own manual. I was thinking that maybe a previous owner had lost his/hers and came back to get one and they gave them one of the new ones... no idea.
