Hello All!
Hello, just registered here but I have been doing a lot of reading here before buying my new s2k. I actually bought it used, some poor fool turned in my silverstone mettallic car with 2033 miles and bought the 7yr/100,000 mile warranty. I got it for $29,800 and considering it was a last minute decision (I was going to buy brand new) it seemed like a good enough deal considering the warranty is $995 from Honda. My alternate choice was the 350Z Roadster and I am very happy with my decision. Since the car has only 2k miles I have not gotten on it super hard yet but I have had a couple 100 mph bursts. I don't know what a 2.0l feels like but the 2.2l is really drivable. Anyway, just thought I post post something instead of just lurking around...
Welcome to the club!!! Enjoy your car!!!
Had a fantastic six hour drive with my wife here yesterday around the winding coastal back roads of the Coromandel peninsula here in New Zealand in our S. Its the first week of winter but it was sunny and warm enough (about 17 C I think) and we had the top down all day until it started to drizzle and get dark as we headed back home. This is our first winter with the S and we are loving it almost as much as in summer so far. Our winters arent too severe here and we are still driving top down almost all the time.

Thanks everyone! For some reason, I am liking this car a lot better than my previous 2002 Boxster S... The Porsche was nice and stylish but the s2k seems like just a fun car! I bought it for my daily commuter and gas mileage car, I traded in a lifted truck that got 14 mpg and this is much much better. Stupid me already scrapped the front end a little from a parking stop. Guess I am just used to a lifted truck. I'll never do that again I hope! The top is much faster than the 12 second the Boxster took and it just feels better when driving it.
