Hello everybody. Back from the other side
I wanted to stop by and say hello to everybody.
I miss my S2000, but I'm happy with the M. The new S54 engine is awesome(red lines at 8k yep) but the S2000 was alot more exciting to drive.
For the record, my M was fixed up.. great body shop, can't even tell it was tagged!
Also, something you might find interesting. I posted on Bimmer.org about a problem I encountered with my new M. Believe it or not, BMWNA contacted me via my post and offered assistance in correcting the problem! It blew me away after the months I spent trying to go up the ladder at Honda. If Honda reads this take note.
In addition, many people on the bimmer.org speak very highly of the S2000. The funny thing is that I saw a post regarding the new Z4 comming out. It looks like it took some body lines from the S2000.
Take care
I'll be dropping in regularly

Dorian, glad your back and the new car is repaired and back to normal. Yes, it looks like the Z5 (or whatever BMW is calling it this week) is a direct assault on the S2000. We'll need to stay tuned for this one...
Honda should learn a few things in supporting S2000 customers from BMW... Just because it is sold at the same dealership as Civics and Odesseys doesn't mean it should get the same attention and appreciation.
The s2k is bought by sports car enthusiasts and IMO, need better support from Honda.

I wonder how Honda Japan treats their enthusiasts. Their NSX carries the H badge just like every other model, maybe they treat S2k owners with the same gratitude as the NSX people - pure enthusiasts just like us, S2K people.
Maybe they should've drop the RSX to the Honda line and release the S2k to the Acura line.

George,
Glad to see that your bimmer was fixed and you had no problems with the repairs. I remember you posted about the other problem you were having with it. It's surprising that BMW actually got a hold of you, just from a post. Now that's what I call service.
