Default Hello, Fall. Hello, S2000.

Those of you who live in the Northeast have been lucky enough to witness some amazing Fall weather this week. I took my S2000 out for a spin last night. It was cool/crisp and wow, was my car running amazing. It felt like it actually had some torque as the RPMs climbed and once VTEC kicked in, the car was a rocket. I guess I had gotten used to how this car runs on hot summer days and I had forgotten how amazing this motor is when it's not sweltering outside. I'm going to LOVE this car over the next couple months - now I just hope I have some time to actually get out there and drive it.

I've been debating on doing that now that heat sink isn't as much of an issue. I'm anxious to hear how it sounds.

I'll be sure to do it before my next drive. With these lower temps, I'm assuming heat sink won't be an issue, even with the cover off?

Intake heat soak shouldn't be a problem when the temps are ~65F.

You will hear a low humming/droning sound with the cover off, at idle.

And it's underwhelming when you rev in neutral in place. Under load though, oh lawd!

You know, it's that time of year when women wear one piece bathing suits instead of bikinis.
