Hello, new S2000 owner here.. :)
Just picked up a 01 FBP S2000 yesterday and wanted to say hello! The car is great and hope to learn some good information here.

Welcome Doug. If you haven't used this board extensively already, you're going to learn ALOT from it. I recommend using the search functions too; there is a wealth of information. I wish I frequented this board BEFORE I purchased.

BTW, I noticed your choice of black... you must be a glutton for punishment. j/k. Black is tough, I hope you have the time to care for it (or have enough money to hire someone to do it for you)

Hehe, thanks all. I have been watching the board for awhile now being a car nut and all. One warning, if any of you meet me, you might get sick of me always talking about cars..
This is my 5th Honda, I had a 2000 Civic Si before this and know all the fun of VTEC after breakin..
Overall, it's a great car although entry and exit of the car is a bit cumbersome. So far, I have logged about 80 miles in the last day of driving it so VTEC fun should come soon..
And yes, black is a pain in the @ss to take care of but I wash my car at minimum, once a week so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. I'm sure with the application of Race Glaze, the car will keep in tip top shape as it is the only product I have used thus far that gets rid of swirl marks fairly easily.
