Default Help Building S2000

Ok mates. All this talk of why an S2000 is so great has stirred my feelings toward one again. Please help tell me if the following is feasible, and how much it would cost:

- Repaint the car dark blue (don't know the actual name of the
colour)

- Mugen Exhaust and Manifold

- Full MOTON suspension (is it necessary? what is a good
alternative?

- OZ Superleggera Wheels and Pirelli Assymetrico Tyres

- Extensive Chassis Stiffening including:
-Mugen hard busings
-Mugen Sway Bars
-Mugen Strut Tower Bar

- Good Clutch (suggestions?)

- I would really, really liek to adapt the Japan only info console
into a lefty drive car. I want it to look as stock as possible. Is
that possible?

- Possibly a supercharger.

Thanks for your help. Any suggestions are welcome.

It's feasible if you've got the funds, right?

Matthew...you are spot on! But a few things...

Mugen doesn't make a strut tower bar for the S2000.

The Moton suspension is a GREAT idea!

The blue is called Midnight Pearl Blue

And I seem to recall the OZ wheels being very heavy. Since you seem to have a thing for Mugen, go with the MF-10's!

King Motorsports has the bumpsteer kit that includes thicker/harder bushings, etc...

I don't know about the change to RHD...but it may be possible.

And the supercharger? I wouldn't do it, I don't think this car is a good candidate for boost. Lower the compression with different pistons, then maybe. But...I don't know of anyone who makes them. I think Spoon makes different pistons, but I don't know how they effect compression. This motor is best, IMO, as an NA motor...but it's just that...my opinion...

Sounds like a great project...!

Thanks for the great info!

My dilema seems to be to boost, or not to boost. i actually prefer roadsters to be nimble and quick, but not super car fast. However, coming from an E46 M3, i do think that i would miss the power, as i certainly do while driving my current NA Prelude.

AusS200, you nailed it mate. i want the template and the exact screen and CPU. i figure that i can change the software. Have you heard anything about that?

As for the wheels, i left out on of the most important parts of my build up...brakes.

- 4 (maybe 6 if i go silly) pot brakes from AP Racing riding
13 inch discs.

Does anyone know if there is a rear brake kit?

But anywho Greg, i am trying to stick to an F1 theme. Ridiculous i know, but i just think that huge AP calipers poking through satin OZ wheels would look incredible.

Does anyone know how much quid it costs to paint one of these cars? With all of this rubbish, how much would my total package be? Anyone with an educated guess?

Thanks again.

I searched, and found nothing. A little help mate?
