HELP: Car is going in for service tomorrow!
Tomorrow my car is going in for a new soft top. I am wondering if people would reccomend me taking my carbon hood off. I have never taken my car to the dealership before and I'm not quite sure how they will react to the aftermarket hood (w/ warranty??) I have wheels and a intake too (less noticeable). Just wondering if most dealers pull the, "it's modified - can't fix it under warranty" card. However I believe I am the only S2000 owner the dealer has worked with in years. (Alaska)

Go to Enterprise, they'll give you one and you can either use it as-is or use it as a template for your own.
If they don't want to sign it, go somewhere else. There is no valid reason to not sign it. They are the ones walking around the car, they are the ones pointing out the dings, they are the ones telling you how much fuel is in the car, how many miles are on the clock, etc.
What you are asking them to do is respect your property before you do business with them.
Doing business with a specific entity is a choice and there are other choices out there, it's not like they are a Ferrari dealership. They want you to sign their paperwork and they better be ready to sign yours. It's a business deal, nothing more, nothing less. I don't care if your family has been going there for years or how many cars you bought from the same sales guy or who's daughter you're banging. Business is business and there sure as hell don't care about anything you have other than your wallet.
If they don't want to do business your way, go somewhere else. It's not unreasonable for you to ask them to do this.
