I am looking to buy an S2k soon and need to know if I really need to worry about it being pre-certified if it has 46,000 ('01) miles on it. I am looking at one tonight and would appreciate any help.

 

my opinion is no, but thats just me. It is a bunch of money for a warranty that doesn't seem to be that great in the first place. I would talk to someone that really knows the ins and outs of Honda's pre-certified program.

 

They dropped my interest rate 1% and gave me a bunch of cool goodies (oil changes, car washes, discount on future purchase) for going with the certified pre-owned program. I also plan on trying to get a few things fixed under TSB. You can always opt out of it if you want the car without the warranty.
