Default Help! Gas Crisis in Georgia!

On Tuesday I came very close to running out of gas, but luckily found a station that had just been filled.

Well, tonight I'm not under a 1/2 gallon, and I've found 3-4 stations tonight that have 87 ONLY!

What do I do if I have NO other choice but to fill my car with 87? Do I add an octane booster to try and offset the issue or what?

Thanks in advance....

You can use it. Your car will compensate for the lower octane. I would't run it in the long term but you can fill it with a bit and just get premium later.

87 is fine in your s2000, the ecu can compensate. I'm running 87 thanks to the gas shortage. I think the car is actually running stronger if you ask me, definitely not running poorly at least.

You simply can't find premium. I sat in line for thirty minutes today to get a tank of 87 and then went to walmart and bought the last of their octane booster. It's getting pretty ridiculous.
