Default help with headlight adjustment

this might sound stupid. but can anyone explain how to adjust the headlight height. i parked it 25 ft in front of my garage and its looks to be about 3 to 4 inches off. its very noticeable. my driver side headlight is lower. is it the housing that needs to be adjusted?

It is suppose to be lower then the passenger side, otherwise you will blind oncoming traffic more then you do now. If there are properly adjusted, you will see an area that looks like this in the middle where the two beams converge. /_/

That is how exactly it is suppose to be. You did a better job at recreating it then I did. The area in the middle that is dim is where the two converge at their edges. The passenger side is higher so it illuminates more of the side road where animals or other object could come out of. It is a safety reason that is done, to project more light further and higher so you can see the hazards sooner. If you did this to the driver side, you would impair the other drivers on the road and then you become a hazard.
