Any details? Is it both the latch and the lock? What happened to cause this? New CF hood? Accident? Does it latch if you drop it from 2-3ft open? Tried adjusting it?

Did you adjust the rubber bump stop's on each side? You may be hitting them and thats causing the hood not to latch.

If the release has loosed (the assembly that is bolted to the bumper beam) it will slide down and out of adjustment.

If I remember right there are three (3) 10mm bolts holding it in place. You'll need to play with the adjustment to get it to latch while dropping the hood from about 2 feet up. As you should already know.......NEVER push the hood closed. Drop it to close it. If you have to drop it from more than 3 feet or so, then you'll need to re-adjust the latch.

Another key to look for is, once the hood IS closed........is there a rise up from the bumper to the hood at the point that they meet? If so, lower the latch assembly. Vice-versa if the hood is sunk down compared to the bumper......raise the assembly up a bit.

You may even be able to see the wear pattern of where it used to allign - i.e. the dirt on the plate of the assembly. Use that as a starting point in your adjustments.

Good Luck,
Hockey
