Help, I burned something??
This morning I did a run by droping the clutch at 6K RPM. It was a small street so when I stopped at the stop sign, and started with around 5k RPM, the car wouldn't go any where, it just crawled. When I pulled up in my driveway I saw some smoke and it smelled bad. WTF did I do??? Is it the clutch, I have not done many launches from vtec range so nothing is worn or anything. Please help, thanks
I am so worried!!!

You probably burned the clutch by not letting the clutch pedal out fast enough. You need to side-step the clutch pedal when attempting a launch of this kind. Releasing the clutch pedal in a normal matter (even if you think it's a fast release) will cause the clutch to slip a lot when the revs are up.
It's okay ... The clutch is a standard heavy duty one, so it can withstand such brutal operatives not just once but for alot of times. Just keep driving the car while the smell will linger around for awhile depending how much you drive the car while it slowly fades off. Don't worry, it's common. No major harm done.
