My last three vehicles were gray/silver. Before that dark green. But what possessed me to get a black on black MY02? I think it is the most intimidating looking of the S2000's. Wasn't impressed by the "simple white", silver is too common, the "look at me" yellow is cheesy, and the blue on blue is a little too...shall I say...sexual orientation challenged for me. When the sun has set and a deep glossy black beast with tinted windows and the haunting blue haze from the headlights pulls up beside you on the highway then drops to 4th goes VTECH and screams away from you, it will leave an impression on your soul. You'll be saying "Damn...that was a badass car". Yes it gets dirty and shows dust but that just gives me an excuse to wash it, rub it, and blow it dry if you know what I mean!!!

I know you said you don't like GPW, but living in the warm climates, you can't beat the tan interior for being much cooler than black. When I went to the dealer to buy an S, I saw a red one I loved, but as we all know, the interior is black. I ask the salesman to put the top down so the car could sit in the sun for 15 minutes. When I came back out, I went over to the car and touched the seat. Wow! It was so hot that you could fry an egg on it. I decided that for me, the GPW with the tan interior was the pick. Everyone is beautiful making the choice a hard one. Have fun!

You know, I really like the white, it stands out and the tan interior really makes it look classy But I don't think I could own a white car, it's just not me.

Same kinda goes w/the yellow, really, the way I see it, yellow is the perfect color for an S2000. As awesome as yellow looks an S2K, again, it's yellow is just not my color, I don't anything that's yellow, my colors are blues, dark reds, greys and black. I'd have to adjust, and I just may if I'm standing in the dealership and say "ah, what the heck! Let me get the yellow." I also don't like that it stands out so much, I have REALLY bad luck w/people vandalizing my cars, I've had cars messed w/in rich and regular neighborhoods, I just have really bad luck w/that. Yellow is so noticable and screams "LOOK AT ME!" you can't pass a yellow s2k w/out staring at it, which is great....but can also be bad in my book. Although it would be garaged, I can see someone coming out drunk out of a club taking a key to an awesome yellow car, than a muted grey car. I know I'm paranoid, but from experience I have good reason to be.

Black is menecing, love that. But every imperfection shows, that's bug the hell out of me.

I think I'm really leaning towards either a Silverstone (grey again ) or a Suzuka Blue. Black leather, and black leather for me is best because my old cars w/tan leather in them used to get "stained" from all the dark clothing I wear over the years.

So it looks like I'm leaning towards one of these boys.....

Gawd these cars look good in all colors

Damn it, why did they get rid of MonteCarlo Blue for the '04 models!

That color is awesome! if they had it for the '04 models, this thread wouldn't even exist, I'd be settled on a THAT color....
awesome, just awesome....
