I would go for the color that I wanted or else you will regret it everytime you see it.

thanks for all the replies, guys. yeah i'm 90% sure i'm going with the red, but the way i was thinking is that they could both be unique. red is a rare color, but i have yet to see an s2k with a hardtop on the road. silver is actually my second choice, and they both only have 20,000 miles on them and were previously owned by older men so i doubt either of them were seriously beaten up.

one more thing i forgot to ask, do a lot of you find that there are a lot of blind spots with the top up? i didn't think it was extraordinarily bad, but coming from a guy who's only owned sedans in the past, it's not easy to adjust to. that's another reason why i wanted the hardtop, there's such a better view.

The only major blind spot that is a real problem is the left shoulder. I am rather used to it due to having a Miata before had, but it is still kind of nerv raching changing into a left lane in buisy traffic. The best you can do is try an possion the mirror as best as you can to emilinate the amout of blind spot as posible. Then only use the rear view mirror to see to look for cops behind you. There are also convex driver side mirrors you can buy after market.

And I'm sure someone is going to state "just always drive with the top down, no blind spots"

Go with the NFR. You can't go wrong with it. I did and I love it.

The blind spot shouldn't be a problem. Drive it often and you'll get the hang of it.

Get the one with lower mileage and nicer paint. Hopefully it's the one with the Hardtop.

Don't settle on the perks, get the color you want.
