Default Help me pick from these 5 exhausts...

I'm new here, but hit the search button several times yesterday going through exhaust recommendations. Based on what I'm looking for, searching helped me come up with 5 different systems. Help me narrow it down to one. I posted them below and their claimed HP gains. Just post up the one you recommend and 1-2 sentences why.

Here's what I like. Overall, nothing ridiculously loud or obnoxious. Just a little low rumble at idle, and through the RPM range I like it smooth and deep. Not too throaty. Definitely no droning, and I would prefer an exhaust that doesn't need silencers to keep it civilized sounding.

Appearance wise, I don't like canister exhausts. So that eliminated pretty much everything. The 5 that were left are what I need help in choosing from.

Borla - ? HP gain
Magnaflow - +5 claimed HP gain
Team Spugen (dual oval mufflers) - +5 claimed HP gain
Neuspeed - +5 HP gain
Comptech - +3 HP gain

Thanks!

With an exhaust you can't really go for HP, unless you get the triple combo, intake, header, exhaust.

I love the HKS, search for a clip.

Yeah, that's what I have heard about the HP gain. I was just posting the claimed gains to give more info. Right now, I'm just doing the exhaust. More $$$ in the future will support other exhaust components.

I, myself, don't like the look of the HKS. But that's just me. That's why my selections are narrowed down to these 5 oval muffler exhausts.

from my own current personal experience, the T1R Sparrow has no drone either.. (im running the stock cat with it)

if you want to stick to your 5 choices, id go with Team Spugen since that's what i had in my car before

I'm running the Comptech and love it. It's loud when it needs to be, quiet pretty much all the other time. There is a slight drone between 3-4k, but other than that, it's just fine. I've gotten a lot of compliments on both the look and sound of the exhaust.

Some other ones not on your list worth considering are the Fujitsubo, and the newer T1R Sparrow. I've actually contemplated trading the Comptech for the T1R. Give them a shot.

Borla - It is very heavy, Sound unknown. I have only heard on a couple of owners with this exhaust over the years on s2ki.com
Magnaflow - My personal fav. I have it on my car. No drone
Team Spugen (dual oval mufflers) - Magnaflow manufatured mufflers (on some systems), great prices, great service
Neuspeed - HP loss
Comptech - Designed by CT, Magnaflow manufatured mufflers (To CT specs)
