Stay in school and learn grammar. I think when everyone is 15 they think they're going to get any car they want, and they end up with an 85 Ford Pickup.

More power to you. You come to an S2000 board, what do you think we'll say?

stay in school, don't use drugs, exercise your right to vote (when you're 18), pay your taxes (when you are required to do so), keep your dog off my lawn and use your damn turnsignal.

IM 17 and i leanred the hard way that a begginer/novice driver should NOT have a car that fast when they start driving. If your dad wants to buy you a car, thats cool, no need to flame him. Most of us on this board work hard and pay for our cars ourselves, and it allows us to appriciate them. No matter what you say, something that you've worked for years to pay for/off is much more important and valuable to you than something that was given. IT does make members mad---i dont know if this is the right word but you get what im sayin) that a parent would be so dumb as to buy their 15 year old sun a car like that. If i was you I would ask your dad to invest that money for me or look into real estate, then i would take about 5$ or so and buy an 90-93 integra. FWD, great learning car, and adequete power. The WRX is also a very safe alternative, but the price is quite a bit higher than the integra, plus its AWD and easy to drive. If you do insist on getting a high powered car such as the s2000 or 350 that is RWD, get a job and pay to have professional driving. Hell, if you took lesssons now, you could be a better driver than someone who started when they were 21, or even my age.
Also, please read my thread here

I certainly hope this is just a troll stiring up trouble.
If this is real, get a job when you turn 16 to help pay for the car, insurance, gas, and maintenance. You'll appreciate it more. Tell your Dad not to buy you anything until you've worked enough to save up a down payment, ON A CIVIC.
Oh, and as others have said. Stay in school and take an extra English class because the only bin I know of is Bin Laden.

And please try to use proper English next time. Reading your post hurt my brain. I'm no English professor, but I know that a 15 year old does not write that poorly. Especially one who's parents can afford to spend $30,000+ on their kid's first car.

I thought you have to be 16 to get a driver's license. Since when did it drop to 15????

They should change the law such that you have to be 18 before you can get a license; like the far east.
