Help!! MY03 won't start!
Here are two likely reasons:
1) If the alarm is aftermarket, I'd suspect the alarm may be preventing the correct operation of the starter.
2) Are you sure that the battery is O.K? If there is enough dark current drain on the battery (due to an improperly installed alarm, perhaps), the battery will discharge enough to still operate the dash lights and radio, but there is insufficient current to operate the solenoid and starter that require much more current.

Yes, the alarm is an aftermarket one; however, I don't understand why the center gauge and the turn signal are the functioning.

Alarms can kill the e-dash?? If it's not a fuse, it's some sort of wiring problem. A dead ECU? Good thought, but would that kill the entire e-dash?
I dunno. Sounds like some nasty wiring problem.

Guys, I appreciate all your advises. But I am confused about the center gauge lights and turning signals. No a single light comes up. It is like there is no electricity. Same for the engine star button. The air vents, radio, and other misc. lights besides the turn signals DO come on.
It's possible that a harness or connector from the steering column, gauge cluster, or ECU was unplugged when the alarm was installed and not properly plugged back in and somehow worked its way loose, or during the alarm installation a harness or wire was unknowingly pulled loose.
It could also be possible that your ECU has failed and it's just a coincidence that it happened shortly after your alarm was installed.

Sorry, correction on my last post. The alarm was installed 4 months ago. It was my first trip to the car after 1 week. When I pushed the botton to unlock the alarm, I noticed my alarm must went off earlier. Could it be the alarm somehow affected the electric circuit after it went off?
