My dealer has not received instructions for the seatbelt recall although they did receive some parts. Can I get a copy of the TSB please?

You can get it from the NHTSA:

Year: 2000
Make: HONDA
Model: S2000
Manufactured From: JUN 1999 To: DEC 1999
Year of Recall: '00
Type of Report: Vehicle
Summary:

Vehicle Description: Convertible passenger vehicles. When the convertible top is down and the seat is pushed all the way back, the seat belts may not retract properly resulting in slack in the seat belts.

This slack can reduce the protective capability and effectiveness of the belts and increases the risk of injury to an occupant in a crash.

Dealers will replace the convertible top cover to prevent interference with the seat belt. Owner notification began February 4, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009. Also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Auto Safety Hotline at 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).

Year: 2000
Make: HONDA
Model: S2000
Manufactured From: JUN 1999 To: AUG 2000
Year of Recall: '00
Type of Report: Vehicle
Summary:

Vehicle Description: Passenger vehicles. Under certain conditions, the seat belt retractor can deform and cause complete or frequent locking of the retractor. As a result, the seat belts cannot be pulled out of the retractor and cannot be used.

In the event of a crash, the seat occupant may not be properly restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury or death.

Dealers will replace the seat belt actuator assembly. Owner notification is expected to begin during October 2000.

I'm looking for the Tecnical Service Bulletin from Honda (just like the step by step instructions for the grind fix). The recall info is helpful but I already have that. My dealer has not received the repair details yet or doesn't know where to get it!

It took my dealer 4-5 hrs to replace/fix the sensors.
They had to take the seats out. Then go from the trunk, which in my case there is alot of stereo stuff in the way.
Then replace the sensor. I just went in for an oil change. They called me and did it then.
Hopefully you dont plan on waiting around for it.

I have not seen them posted anywhere. I would guess that it comes with the parts.

I had a look and cannot find it. I'm not looking for the recall notice. I am looking for the actual TSB (just like the grind fix instructions)if it has been posted by anyone. I have a copy of the first page from another dealer (1 of 3). The TSB is #00-078 issued 10/4/00
