Default help with radio

Help me guys.

My brother borrowed my car and left the light on so the battery drained. When he jump started the car the he found out the radio has been reset. He has to enter a number code to get the radio working again but he lost the owner's manual (number is in there).
Can anyone tell me how to get this number. Honda dealership or write to head quarter?

Any dealer can get you the radio code from the VIN# or the radio s/n. The dealership where you purchased it will have it on file. Others can get it. Of course, the dealership will want to know it is giving the code to the legitimate owner.

I keep the codes on my my hard drive too in a little S2000 info file, just in case. I also keep it on my PDA. Of course, I keep the radio in a box in my basement and I keep an Alpine CDA-7876 in the S2000.

Mine came with a credit card sized card in the bottom of the secret compartment. I found it in there about a week after I got the car. You don't happen to have it lying in there by any chance do you?

The VIN isn't going to help you. If the original dealer doesn't have the code on file, and you dont have a copy of the code the only numbers that can get the code are the radio serial and reference that is on the radio itself. Check with your dealer on the info that they require to get a radio code. Most require proof of ownership, some wont give them out over the phone. It all depends on the dealer. The radio code is an anti- theft device.

There should be a sticker somewhere on the car that lists the code. On my old Accord, it was in the trunk. For my S2K, it's stuck in front of the secret compartment.
