Default Help with S2k

Hey guys! I just got myself a brand new 02 s2k today
Its a Sebring silver with red interior. I was kind of debating whether to get the 03 silverstone/red or this one. But I end up getting the sebring because I think it looks a lot better. It came with 100 miles on it because I guess alot of people test drive it .........Well I need help and sorry if its a newbish question but I cant seem to find the gas hatch anywhere on the car. I would have look in the drivers manual but I dont got one at the moment..So if you guys could help that would be great. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the fold. Open your driver side door and look for a little black button/plug on the body of the car halfway up the door jamb. Give it a tug and you will pop open your gas tank.

The "gas hatch" is just left of the drivers door when open half way up the door frame. What did you pay for your '02 with 100 miles?

The latch is inbetween the driver's seat and the door.

Your owner's manual should be in the "secret compartment". BUT WAIT, you need the manual to tell you where the secret compartment is. Oh well, you'll find it one day.

I didn't get the manual untill a month after. Fist time I was at the gas station, I looked like a fool, stop in front of the pump and look all over the car. It took me about 15 min. before I could find it.

BTW, don't forget to check your engine oil while you at it, if you don't alredy know.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB !!!
