Your correct Aus2000. Mold releases are used after each shot of rubber to prevent the rubber from sticking to the mold. This may take a few miles to wear off......had this issue when I was racing sportbikes for Honda and Metzler Tire got a new kid in the shop.

I have to believe it is the difference between the S02's andd the new tires... what is the treadwear rating of the new tires... bet it is much higher than the S02's 140!

Technically, do you really need a realignment after installing bigger wheels?

CHOWBOX,

What and where did you get your center caps from? Do you have any close up pictures of your wheels (center caps)? I don't like the gold color on mine. [/B][/QUOTE]

nickd,

What size rear tires are you running?

I hear that the Falken GR's don't grip that well.

You cannot compare the Falken's to the S02's.

I'm running 255-35/18 and 225-40/18. I tried a few different tyre pressures since and I think it's much better now. Front:39PSI Rear:41PSI. In the rain though it's a different story. Very easy to get the ass hanging, but at least it's progressive and predictable.

But if you think the Falkans are C R A P, I'll take em back and get something else. What do you suggest?
