I'm fairly impressed about what the Mustang crowd had to say.

I wasn't impressed at all to be completely honest. I read through the entire thread -- even though I try to never get into a "this vs. that" battle unless it is apples to apples.
I would love to take on a Stang or Camaro in the twisties in the S2000. I actually was going to post on the board to include my opinion but decided against it -- smart move in the long run.

Looks like some good compliments to me, I posted my own since I'm daily driving a s2000 and have a 99 mustang gt, makes for easy comparisons.

Somtimes you don't know what to expect from the high torque pony crowd.

Sounded like most respected the S2k and even considered trading their Pony car for one that is more refined.

Posted in another thread on this board,"There's nothing on a Mustang that a new chassis wouldn't fix." I really liked that comment .

I did. My Mustang GT (had two a 83 and 98) were a great cars that I had no trouble with. Also everyone on the road knows and respects the Mustang GT's performance. Something that can not be said for the S2000. Also Mustang GT owners have a big thing we do not, $10,000.00 in there pockets.

I agree with most of their posts and was surprised at their willingness to embrace the car. However, I'd hate to hear what they think of the Boxter S if they think the s2000 is to expensive ! (or the bmw, or the...). All in all its pretty cool.

The S2000 topics are hot topics. Everytime I see a post about the S on other board, it's going to get mucho responces (some negatives). I'm extremely surprise at the Mustang board for giving our S its credits. But, like many other boards. It's always revolved around prices. Most of them didn't know that you can get the S at MSRP. all most any where in the states (except silicon valley).

They all play nice now don't they? I think the reason they are so respectful towards other car owners is...they are afraid of your response which could be, "oh ya I also have a LS1- Biaatch!"
