Hi!
Ditto almost exactly what emrillive said....Congratulations! I upgraded from an '01 Civic EX and I am still breaking in my new toy also but I am a little ahead of you emerillive..I have about 500 miles on her now....but am also having a blast learning her idiosyncrosies and trying to find excuses to put that last 100 miles on ....ah who needs an excuse right???? Welcome and I also would like to say I am amazed at how many I see on the streets now that I have bought one. You never seem to notice them until you have one too I guess.
Wow, what a friendly place
Except for my Prelude, this is the first non-sedan that anyone in my family, distant relatives included, have owned. So, there was huge novelty going on last night! My sister and I went for a drive and she couldn't stop giggling at how everyone was staring at us. We did a lot of useless errands (dropping off some DVDs at blockbuster, getting gas, going to taco bell when we weren't hungry) just to feel "seen" - like movie stars!
I have a lot to learn about keeping the car in tip-top shape. Barely 100 miles so far so ya'll are way ahead of me.
I only have covered parking, not a garage, probably no garage until I buy a house next year. I hope it'll suffice.
I hope the blue works out! I love it, it's different and after two silver Preludes I was kind of silvered out. The dealer had a silver with black/red interior that didn't really grab me. The blue seems more novel somehow, and like the silver shows well in almost any lighting condition.

I know what you mean about feeling like a star. My husband is looking at getting a new car now and he was looking at teh EVO. He dont want it only for the sole reason that it dont look like a sports car. Yeah it can kick alot of cars Booty on the road, but it dont 'Look" like it. It also dont have the "Wow....what kinda car is that?!? Looks sweet" head-turning action that we have been spoiled with with the S....
I just came back from doing some errands and am amazed at the attention... "beautiful car!" "tight ride" and a whole lot of honks and stares. And, everyone with a baskethandle wants to race. Yikes!
LOL, the one thing I dont like is when I am asked what kind of car is it. I even had one person think it was a Chevy!!!
My reply...."It's an S."
Them: "Who makes it?"
My reply...."Honda started it and I am finishing it"
