i knew everyone was going to bring up "bi-xenons" (i also have owned an e46 m3), BUT the bimmer's that are equipped with bi-xenons also have a halogen HI-BEAM bulb that isn't HID. The bi-xenon bulb everyone is talking about is actually the lo-beam HID projector that has a lens that moves when the driver activates the Hi-Beams and the HALOGEN HI-Beam actually also comes on too

Still, I haven't seen a car that actually has HID's in the low beam and high beams...

Projector=HID/LOW BEAM
RED LINE=HALOGEN/HI-BEAM

The Acura TL uses HID high beam. It uses its low beam but i think they changed the angle when you turn on the high beam. It is bright as hell, i love it.

Actually, on cars equipped with bi-xenon lights the "high-beam" halogen bulbs are only used to when you do a high beam flash. When you turn on your high beam it's using the low beam bulbs with the high beam reflector.

yes, there are. they are called ricers that put that aftermarket hid kit crap on their halogen reflectors, low and high and at the same time. they look like stadium lighting coming at you and then you hit a tree

No, actually the TL also does have a HALOGEN bulb for HI-BEAMS (also owned a 2004 TL).

I'm going to have to agree with GranPrix on this one. No factory car comes with HID in the LOW-BEAM and HI-BEAM (2 HID bulbs, not a reflector or movement of the Low-Beam HID bulb)
