Default HID bulbx

My drivers side headlight burnt out the other night. the only place locally to buy them is the honda dealership or advanced auto. but their $100 a bulb, and you never replace one HID bulb at a time.

where do you all get your bulbs and what brand is the "best". this is my first time messing with HID so i'm not exactly sure what to get.

Hey, I know Joey @ JS2K sells 6000k HID bulbs $20 for a set. I actually just ordered a set a few weeks ago. Haven't had a chance to install them yet b/c of the weather, but they look super nice, plus a lot cheaper than $100 Honda wants.

They're supposedly a little "whiter" and clearer, brighter looking light, but the light output is decreased by a few lumens.

Here's the link btw:

for TRS. They're very knowledgeable over there and their prices are very decent for very good products, both Morimoto and Philips. I bought some Morimoto 6000k from them not too long ago. Very good, straight bulbs. The ebay cheap bulbs I had bought before were off-color and totally ruined the beam, never again will i buy cheap ebay HIDs.

I have no idea regarding Js2k's HIDs but I do know he sells very good LED running/side blinker/license/interior lights which I bought a few of. After the ebay HID fiasco, I now only trust HID dealers who are experienced and reputable. HID Planet is where you get all the good info regarding HIDs so look there if you have any questions.
