Default My Left headlight went out! HELP!

Hey guys and gals My from headlight went out and I am wondering where is the best place to get a replacement bulb. Do places like autozon, pep boys etc offer bulbs? Or should i just go with ebay? also, what kind of bulbs do I get? Im trying to keep as stock as possible as I love the visibility as it is. Should I buy a new pair or just replace one? Also, I'm heading out of town this weekend so I need something pretty quickly. Thanks S2kers any information would be extremely helpful!!

High beam or Low? High, no problem, just change the bulb. Low beam, not so easy because it is HID. It could be the bulb or the ballast (I forgot the official name) both quite expensive for OEM. Personally, when this happened to me, I went with OEM light bulb, then it turned out to be the ballast, luckily the parts guy let me return the bulb even though it is supposed to be non-returnable. The bulb was about $190 and the ballast/inverter? box was $200+. The thing is you have to take both sides apart so you have a good one to test with, if you do your own work.

If it is indeed a low beam:

I don't know that you can get them at any autozone/advance/oreilly type places.. Dealer will be super expensive. I bought a pair from a member on here for like $40 I think. You can definitely get them on ebay.

The style bulb you need is a D2S. Stick to the major brands like Phillips.

To make certain its the bulb, you can swap the one that isn't working to the opposite side, to rule out the ballast.

Here is a DIY on replacing the bulb, I did need a T25 security bit and was able to find a small set of them at advance auto for a few bucks.
