They are in Aus.

But this autoleveling is not active or dynamic. They don't adjust for bumps in the road, only the initial angle of the car. I can imagine problems for people who park on a downward facing driveway but I suspect they only adjust down to compensate for heavy loads in the trunk.

Awwwww, you got my sympathy

At the current exchange rates we get an S with clear corners, autoleveling lights (why??) and CD changer standard for only $6K more than you pay. Now who's getting the better deal?

The Oz lights are only load levelling with a take off from the bottom suspension arm. Believe me you are not missing much. I have my lights set for my weight ~80Kg and even with a big passenger plus a boot full (went to the wineries!!) of wine the overall change in the light cut off was only about 5cm at 50m. Now convert that into the change in the suspension arm and you are looking at a few mm at most and then combine that with the jiggling of the suspension and the self levelling lights are nearly useless as they have difficulty adjustinhg for this small a change. I would have preferred a cruise control or an alarm, or even a security coded radio as standard....

On my HSV Senator I had self levelling suspension and as this car was a four door and 5 seater with a big boot it was brillant as it set itself when the car was stationery for more then 10 seconds but then the squat in that suspension was very noted with 5 up and a boot (trunk) full.

Don't get me started about the headlight washers - another very useful item here in Oz where you have virtually no snow, not to mention a car that you don't choose to take on dirt roads.

In Oz, you don't even get cruise control or an alarm standard?!
