True - a friend of mine's M3 will level on longer hills and dips in the road but does not level when going over short bumps. I don't think a leveling system can react that quickly as of yet. It would need to be mounted on a gyroscope or some other kind of stabilizer.

HIDs are aimed to put light in certain places, and higher headlights like those on bimmer's will be angled more downward than on our S's. Beyond factory aiming, the light also bends as it passes theough the headlight cover, look at this and turn it upside down, and you have the dynamics of HID's and typical headlights, as the light isn't directly aimed through the slanted headlight covers.



You see blue light because it bends the easiest, having the shortest wavelength,
