Default HID socket help....

Sorry to jump on your board but the parts guy at the local honda dealership was less than helpful to me so I thought I'd try here. Does anyone have a clue to what bulb socket the S2K uses for its HID bulbs? I would like to try and use the bulbs and ballasts in my car and wanted a specific bulb socket to start with, even if they don't match up..the HID's can be milled to fit my 9006 socket. Or so I've heard....
Well, thanks for any info that can be thrown my way

I've already replaced one bulb - it doesn't match up to any existing 9000 series or H series that I have seen.

Yup, you're gonna have to go with the aftermarket HID units such as phillips.

Thanks guys, that is what I had thought I was gonna have to do. Luckely the Phillips and a few other units arent't that $$$ for the car, I just like how the S2000 lights look in comparison.

Thanks again-

i think its H1, still
Usually projector headlamps use an H1 or H3 fitting
Only exception is the Acura Integra

Take your S2k headlamps out and you'll see that the projector/HID bulb is completely different in size and style from the H1 socket.

There is an example of it, it's not very clear but you can see that the bulb is quite a bit larger than the H1 bulb shown next to it and must be used in conjunction to the projector housing in order for it to work properly.
