high rpm

hmm well if you bought it brand new, and you never changed the gears, I would look to see it the Speedo is reading correctly first. Just match up with a friend on the highway. If it is, your still under warrenty, take it to Honda and tell them to fix it.

well the thing i did change is i got a comptech intake. i got the intake about 1 1/2 years ago, and someone suggested lubing/greasing the filter. anyone know if this could be the problem?

This may sound really dumb, but are you sure you were in 6th. 60mph would be about 4000 rpm in 5th.

thats definitly not the problem...if the intake was really clogged it would make the car feel slower, and potential stall it, nothing like what you are talking about. But you could clean the filter for the hell of it, it has been 1 1/2 years so its probably due.

And ya, xviper brought up a good point make sure your talking about 6th.
