High Speeds and Uneven Surfaces
I pretty much have most of the Interstates in and around my city memorized as to where the smoothest road sections are. But every now and then I come across an uneven and bumpy section of road
What would happen to me or the S if I happen to hit one of those shudder spots at a high rate of speed
Also what about when you hit a bridge while on an interstate and it rises and dips when you leave it. I have hit these and it seems like the car is about to bottom out.
So far my biggest concern has been those 18 wheeler tires in the road, but these unknown rough spots got me to thinking.

Just don't drive that fast on the street and you won't have to worry about it. Experimentation at those speeds might be a life ending decision...if not for you then for someone else on the road.
Save it for the track where hopefully the straights are smooth.

I would imagine your springs would lift all the way if you were driving that fast on an uneven surface. The result would be a bottom out when you hit the dip part of the uneven surface. I go over speed...plates? (What's the proper term for a tetrahedron shaped speed bump that's really long on the top?) at 50mph and I really feel the springs lifting, then an compression. I'm not planning on going over that @ 100.
Too bad the track here is not smooth. At the end of the straigth at RFR (Reno Fernley Raceway) there is a set of S turn. I start the day with go into the S at 80 then 90 then 100 by the end of the day. I can't go faster than and still feel safe on stock suspension.
