I just noticed that CRitchie's 2000MY serial number is 9087. Anyone have one that is higher?

Can't help with higher numbers, but I have just found out that my MY2001 VIN is 000001!!!! Anyone lower than that???

(My car is a European model, so I guess there are a few other 000001's out there for the other markets)

 

I think these numbers are sequential regardless of the market they are going to. The US was supposed to only get 5000 (not sure I believe that) and my number indicates that we (the US) would be well over that number if they were sequential by market.

I ordered mine late in MY2000 (June 6th) and recieved it August 31st. That puts me near the end of the MY2000 production run.

I would interested in seeing if there is a higher number myself. In particular, what market it is in.
