Could be track. Could be backyard. No worries!

My voting privileges have been revoked for sometime now so I have to respond by posting. . .

136 mph on my way down to Springfield, IL for some R&R at a bed and breakfast with my girl.

Top down, 5 open lanes of road (in one direction), full visibility for at least 5 miles down the road and no cops!!! Girl sitting in the passenger seat, SLEEPING!!!!, and Papa Roach's "Last Resort" on the radio.

I was still only in the mid range of 5th and had much more to give, car was very stable. . .in fact the car was humming a beautiful note. I chickened out. . .didn't want to go to jail if a cop caught me. . .to say the cop wouldn't have taken me to jail if he caught me at 136mph.

I still have [wet] dreams about the drive. . .I wanna do it again sometime too.

It would be great if you squeeze kph into the poll.. the guys that measure that way often have a lot more opportunity to drive fast.

070 - 090 mph (113

Thanks for doing the math Cdelena! Tried to add it in but not an admin or moderator.

I have seen 157 on my speedo 2 times (slight downhill)and 153mph on flat.

the most recent 153 was with brand new tires and i believe my speedo is more accurate due to the bigger size of the tire.

Being from western PA originally, I'm trying to image any roads, other the turnpike, which could handle that much speed safely - off hand I sure can't think of any.

Its too bad the S2K is so un-aerodynamic. It's the most powerful car (in terms of absolute power) that I've owned, but it's slower than my last two vehicles in terms of top speed thanks to all that drag.

Oh, and the speedo is way off on mine. Reads 6-8 mph fast near the top end.

PA has great roads..hahahahah.. actually right around harrisburg, RT 81 and RT581 are both like new and fairly
straight. Both are fairly flat too.
