Bought my '00 in December 05 with 7985 miles. Last Friday I cracked 79,000 miles. Thats about 26k a year.. and I don't even use her as a daily every day Can't imagine 60k/year though.. wtf would you go.

I haven't visited here in a long time, as I sold my S and now drive an '07 Z06. I'm a service manager at a Honda dealership. We have a regular service customer who bought her S here in 2003, and racks up lots of business miles. Except for regular maintenance, she's never had any problems with her S. For her visit today, her mileage is.......(drum roll please).........237,326 miles! Anyone here even close to this?
impressive

177,000 MY2002
HEAVILY autocrossed for the first two years
Daily driven from day 1

1 clutch

4 ECU's - Seriously - (Had some wiring harness issues that spanned from 20,000 miles to about 65,000 miles that kept frying my ECU and Honda USA got all four injectors, coils, plugs, etc. replaced for free.)

stock pads replaced twice

valves adjusted twice

front and rear rotors replaced once (recently)

Timing chain, and tensioner recently replaced (cuz Honda says to at 180K)

4.56 diff for fun, not due to abuse

Original diff blown (due to abuse, but warranteed nonetheless)

lots of tires

lots of oil

sounds like 237k is the winner, I'm surprised more people haven't weighed in on this

Very impressive. I'm glad to know our cars are still built with the same reliability factors Honda has be greatly known for.

Man, if you drove a car 60k miles a year, any car, how you could still bear driving at all amazes me.
