hell no.. if the dog was big enough to do that damage... f@#k that shit... after the hit, the animal is scared and probably aggressive and again that was a HUGE DOG... so that means I wont stop

I believe by law, you have to stop when you hit a domesticated animal, and make best efforts to notify the owner.
The easiest way is probably 911.
The owner of the dog is likely responsible for the damage to your car given the dog wasn't restrained properly.

Glad you are ok...there was a a better way to handle all of it, but all in hindsight now. It won't be totaled...I hit a sign while successfully not hitting a deer and had similar damage and got it repaired no problem.

dam sry to hear , things happen , but yes I agree you leaving the seen really sux ...how would feel if that was your dog . Anyway good see you didn't get hurt or worse cause an accident .btw that had to be one big ass dog , dam near looks like you hit a deer

Before we got our S, my wife was driving a RX-7. A dog ran into the side of the car going full speed. Made her swerve, hit a guard rail, and run into a ditch. Car = totaled. Dog = ran off. Damn thing left the scene.
