Default Hit the horn or rev the engine?

Poll - duh.

Basically, if you're waiting at the light behind another car, and they don't see the green light, do you hit the horn or rev the engine?

This also applies to any other time you need to get one's attention.

I guess it would depend if you have a CAI or not...

I usually just wait until the car in front moves. If it takes longer than five seconds I lightly tap my horn a few times.

I hate when impatient drivers blare their horn at me after 2 milliseconds of green. So if I'm behind someone I like to give them a few seconds before I give them a light multi tap of the horn. That way they hear the honk but it's more of a "Polite" honk.

I honk my horn when someone doesn't go for a few seconds at a light, but when someone cuts me off, I rev the engine instead of honking.

Ya, I don't get impatient after only 2sec. Sometimes, it takes awhile to get in gear so I understand. But after 5+ sec I rev it up a bit.

I do both while flashing my lights and screaming out the window after one tenth of a second.

I also wave, but I don't use all my fingers.

This is what makes me proud to be an American!

Sadly enough, I've had this happen to me. Then the guy raced ahead of me, cut me off, then slammed on his brakes to a complete stop. Idiot coulda ing killed someone.

I usually wait a few seconds..

Yesterday I was waiting at a light and I was the first one there. As soon as the light turned green the ass behind me honked! What a jerk, I swear, not even a second passed by.
