Friday night I was at a local import shop wanting to buy a VAFC. I was inside for a total of 20 minutes decided to buy the VAFC and was leaving to go get the money out of the bank. I walk outside with my cousin, he is walking around the car to go to the passenger side when I hear him say "oh sh#t". I look and someone has hit my car and took off. I have to replace the rear quarter panel, bumper, taillight and there was some structrul damage to the trunk. . Didnt mean to make this long just needed to vent. this is my second S2000 to get hit in the rear, damn I hate people.

I had the same thing happen to my other car, a CRX, when I parked it on the street.

now I'm very aware of where I park my S2000, and if I have to park it extra far away to put it in a place that it'll be safe, I do so. you might want to start doing the same, esp. since this was the 2nd time this has happened.

 

Thanks tritium_pie, I thought I was being cautious enough since a friend of mine was parked right behind me. Guess not. My first S2000 was hit from behind by a Durango doing 45 while I was sitting still, needless to say it totaled the car. Man, some people.
